About the Role

 

All of our roles are focused on ensuring that our guests are having the most amazing experiences and here at Merlin we have a real focus on FUN! And as the Zipline Supervisor you will be focusing on creating and delivering the fun through your team!

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, maintaining, and delivering highest standard of training to the Zipline team to provide guests with a safe and memorable experience.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of presentation standards of the attraction to provide a positive and safe experience for all guests on site.
  • Reviewing and amending procedures relating to zipline and health and safety on a regular basis to remain up to date and relevant with current procedures within Merlin and the tourism industry.
  • Champion and lead a team through effective communication and knowledge of all Zipline to provide a highly cohesive team environment.
  • Lead and motivate team to deliver memorable experiences to everyone who visits Otway Fly with main focus on highly positive guest experience.

 

About You

You hold a current first aid certificate and a current VIC Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain one if successful). Holding a working at heights and high ropes qualification is highly desirable with prior experience in the tourism industry. 

This is a fast paced, guest facing environment- no two days are the same- so having the fitness and ability to safely lead and supervise zip-line tours will be key in this role. In addition, you are a strong communicator and are able to build rapport across the business. Your ability to have a flexible and adaptable approach along with demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.

The successful candidate must be able to pass a competency based in house training program.
