About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Guest Experience Host to join the Guest Experience team at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast.

 

As a Guest Experience Host at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, your primary responsibility is to create and ensure guests have a magical and memorable day. Hosts will deliver Talks and Tours, Sleepovers, School visits, workshops and parties. Also to provide the best possible customer service across the area of allocated responsibility and maintaining exceptional product delivery.

 

 

Further responsibilities include:  

 

  • Deliver multiple talks daily to the general public including Touch Pool
  • Actively promoting other experiences/tickets through upselling
  • Deliver consistently high guest service to support an increase in customer satisfaction focused KPI results
  • Ensure all internal communication is effective and on brand
  • Oversee the operation of the Virtual Reality area

Please note that this role requires weekend and school holiday availability.

 

About You

 

To shine in this role, you are a strong communicator in which you possess exceptional interpersonal skills with a high level of confidence in public speaking; prior customer service experience is preferred. Your ability to have a flexible and adaptable approach along with demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.

 

Prior knowledge of Marine Life/Studying Marine Biology is considered advantageous. Additionally teaching/ working with children experience is preferrable for this role.

 

Holding a current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one if successful) is also required for this role.
