About the Role 

We are seeking casual Zip-Line guides to join the Zip-Line team at Otway Fly Treetop Adventures. 

As a Zip-Line guide at Otway Fly Treetop Adventures, your primary responsibility is to conduct daily Zip- Line tours through a cool wet sclerophyll / cool temperate rain forest nestled within the Otway National Park.

Further responsibilities include:  

• Conducting and managing an efficient and seamless guided tour through a wet sclerophyll / cool temperate rain forest.
• Adhering to the Otway Fly Zip-Line tour Standard Operating Procedures and Code of Safe Working Practice at all times.
• Demonstrate excellent communication between all team members and guests.
• Conducting all tour preparation tasks including meeting and greeting guests before their tour and delivering safety briefs, harness, helmet fittings and safety checks. 
• Managing a high level cleanliness and presentation of attraction. 
• Assist in the safety supervision of all guests during the zip-line tour.

Please note that this role requires weekend and school holiday availability (penalty rates apply)

About You

You hold a current first aid certificate and a current VIC Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain one if successful). Holding a working at heights and high ropes qualification is highly desirable with prior experience in the tourism industry. 

This is a fast paced, guest facing environment- no two days are the same- so having the fitness and ability to safely lead and supervise zip-line tours will be key in this role. In addition, you are a strong communicator and are able to build rapport across the business. Your ability to have a flexible and adaptable approach along with demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.

The successful candidate must be able to pass a competency based in house training program.
