Are you ready to take the next step in your career with one of the world’s leading companies in visitor entertainment?  Do you have a passion for creating unforgettable guest experience?  If so, we have an exciting opportunity just for you! We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Casual Ride & Experience Host at SEA LIFE Sydney.

To be considered, you must be available to work across all NSW school holidays and public holidays, along with some availability outside this period including weekdays and weekends. 

 

About the role 

Sea Life Sydney is looking for some new team members to join our team, who are dedicated to the delivery world-class guest experience standards with a strong focus on health and safety.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the efficient functioning of all SLSA zones GE run activities
  • Maximise guest satisfaction by actively engaging with all guests who enter the attraction
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure that every guest has a memorable experience
  • Develop and deliver innovative ways of communicating conservation messages in a fun and engaging way
  • Follow all health and safety practises, in particular pertaining to the penguin ride experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced environment

The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive training program and on-going mentoring to provide them with all the skills; information & resources they require to deliver world-class experience standards. 

 

Key expectations include: 

  • Genuine guest interaction in all areas of the attraction, creating connections with people from all over the world 
  • To be adaptable and remain calm under pressure 
  • To have at least 3 days availability, including one weekend day
  • To clearly and effectively communicate and minimise all risk of misunderstandings where possible 
  • Adhere to our core values through language, behaviour and actions 
  • Follow all health, safety and security practices 
  • To be able to problem solve in various dynamic situations 
     

About you 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need outstanding communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service.  If fast-paced environments excite you and you’re passionate about the tourism and attractions industry, we’d love to hear from you!
